Job summary

NewSpace Research & Technologies (NRT) in Bengaluru seeks a finance professional with CA Inter or B.Com and 5–7 years of experience to independently manage critical finance activities in a fast-paced, high-growth startup.

You will own cash flow reporting, asset accounting, audits, regulatory filings, fundraising support, ERP improvements, and cross-functional coordination with procurement, SCM, HR and production to drive growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• CA Inter or B.Com qualification with 5–7 years in finance, accounting, treasury and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cash flow statements, forecasts, MIS, and Budget vs Actual analysis.

• Support fundraising, due diligence and investor information requests.

Role Summary

Seeking a finance professional with CA Inter or B.Com qualification and 5-7 years of relevant experience to independently manage critical finance activities in a fast-paced, high-growth startup. The role requires ownership, analytical ability, stakeholder management, and flexibility to handle both planned and ad-hoc assignments arising from rapid business expansion and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cash flow statements, forecasts, MIS, and Budget vs Actual analysis.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register, capitalization, depreciation, asset verification, and disposals.
• Support milestone closure documentation, SOEs, and utilisation reports for government-funded projects.
• Coordinate statutory, internal and IFC audits; prepare schedules and resolve audit queries.
• Manage insurance renewals, marine declarations, and asset data for insurers.
• Support regulatory filings including FLA and other finance compliances.
• Support fundraising, financial due diligence and investor information requests.
• Drive ERP improvements, finance automation, and process enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Procurement, SCM, Programs, Production, HR and other stakeholders to resolve finance matters.

Banking & Treasury

• Oversee banking requirements and maintain effective relationships with banks, lenders and financial institutions, including resolution of ad-hoc banking matters and information requests.
• Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash positioning, liquidity planning, fund transfers, payment planning, vendor payments, statutory payments, employee reimbursements and other approved business disbursements.
• Manage banking operations including payment uploads, maker-checker workflows, bank portal activities, account opening/closure, signatory changes, KYC updates and resolution of failed or rejected transactions.
• Ensure timely bank reconciliations and adherence to payment authorization matrices, banking controls, documentation requirements and internal approval processes.
• Support foreign-exchange and cross-border banking requirements, where applicable, in coordination with authorized dealer banks and relevant advisors.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and working knowledge of applicable Ind AS requirements.
