Job summary

MongoDB in Gurugram is hiring for an HR Shared Services professional responsible for backend processes across payroll inputs, benefits management, and lifecycle activities. The role supports onboarding, offboarding, background checks, and visa letters while ensuring SLA adherence in a hybrid work setup.

The candidate will handle data-heavy tasks with attention to detail, be comfortable with a shift pattern, and collaborate with internal partners to optimize HR operations for the Americas region.

Responsibilities

• Process backend HR transactions: payroll inputs, benefits enrolment/cancellations, tax files.
• Handle reporting, reconciliations, meal vouchers and transport reimbursements.
• Manage onboarding, probation, offboarding support and background checks for hires.
• Contribute to SOPs and ensure SLAs are met for HRSS operations.

Job description

The Americas HR Shared Services team comprises four members, including the team lead, and supports operations across 19 countries in the Americas region. The team manages end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, covering activities across the hire-to-retire spectrum.

Key responsibilities include payroll inputs, benefits enrolment and cancellations, reporting and reconciliations, administration of meal vouchers and transport reimbursements, handling tax-related files, and managing ad hoc documentation such as employment and visa letters. The team also supports background checks for interns, contractors, and new hires, along with onboarding, probation management, and offboarding processes.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.

Position Expectations

• Individual Contributor as part of the HR Shared Services team in India
• You will play a vital role in processing the backend transactions related to the General Employee Queries, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation and other crucial departments, along with making sure that the relevant SLA’s are met
• Learn and perform newly transitioned processes and over time gain subject matter expertise in the respective departments
• Adhere to and demonstrate high proficiency in agreed critical metrics & SLAs
• Assist in building and maintaining the Standard Operating Procedures for Case Management
• Deliver high quality and consistent service delivery to all internal customers and partners and follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Actively partners in the Data Management tasks like Audits, Reporting, Data Entry/Update etc

Key Skills & Abilities

• Experience for 3+ years in HR Operations / Shared Services in an HR Shared Services role for Americas region
• Has expertise in HR Operations with eye for detail and process adherence
• Is a self-starter who is intrinsically motivated for their own performance to achieve desired results
• Can function independently, with minimal mentorship and supervision
• Open to work in a 24X7 role
• Is agile and can function in an ambiguous environment, capable of taking charge when the situation needs it
• Should be proficient with ticketing tools and should have been excellent in meeting HRSS performance parameters - case handling, etc.
• Ability to get into detailing the process and have an eye for detail to suggest process improvements
• Comfortable with working in a shift of 6PM-2AM
