Job summary

Cityflo is seeking an Associate - HR (Captain Development Team) in Mumbai to design and drive initiatives that engage and retain our Captain community. You will collaborate with Operations to deliver people-first programs, manage onboarding experiences, and support a responsive employee relations function.

The role emphasizes frontline workforce engagement, data-driven insights, and the use of AI productivity tools to simplify HR processes and reporting across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR Operations, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, or People Operations experience.
• Experience managing blue-collar employees, drivers, frontline workforce, or large field teams.
• Strong engagement, retention, and attrition management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engagement activities, recognition programs, and events for the Captain community.
• Build relationships with Captains through regular interactions and feedback sessions.
• Drive initiatives to improve morale, motivation, and workplace culture.

As an Associate HR, you'll be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive work environment for our Captain community. You'll work closely with Operations to improve captain engagement, drive retention initiatives, address captain concerns, and build programs that enhance the overall captain experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with frontline employees, solving people-related challenges, and creating initiatives that positively impact workforce satisfaction and business performance.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute engagement activities, recognition programs, and employee events for the Captain community.
• Build strong relationships with Captains through regular interactions and feedback sessions.
• Drive initiatives that improve employee morale, motivation, and workplace culture.

Retention & Employee Experience

• Monitor attrition trends and identify opportunities to improve retention.
• Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to understand employee concerns and recommend improvements.
• Develop and execute retention initiatives for frontline employees.
• Support onboarding and ensure a smooth employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

Employee Relations

• Address employee grievances and resolve workplace concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Counsel employees on workplace policies and behavioural expectations.
• Promote a positive work environment built on trust, transparency, and open communication.

Operations Coordination

• Work closely with the Operations team to understand workforce challenges and implement people-focused solutions.
• Support manpower planning and workforce-related initiatives.
• Ensure HR policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented across the Captain workforce.

Data & Process Management

• Track key HR metrics such as retention, attrition, absenteeism, and employee engagement.
• Prepare reports and recommend action plans based on employee feedback and data.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and leverage AI-powered tools to simplify documentation, reporting, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, or People Operations.
• Hands-on experience managing blue-collar employees, drivers, delivery executives, field workforce, or large sales teams.
• Strong experience in employee engagement, retention initiatives, and attrition management.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Comfortable working extensively with frontline employees and operational teams.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Good analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using HRMS platforms and AI productivity tools is an added advantage.
