Job summary

Valuelabs Hyderabad seeks an experienced in-house Legal Leader to independently review contracts and drive closures across buy and sell side, partnerships, IP licensing, and SaaS agreements. You will draft, review and manage key agreements and provide strategic legal advice.

This role leads the legal team, negotiates terms (in-person or virtual), acts as SPOC for senior management, and coordinates with stakeholders to close varied agreements while handling HR, IP and data privacy matters.

Responsibilities

• Independently review contracts and expedite contract closures (Buy side, Sell side, Partnership, Subcontracting, IP Licensing, SaaS Agreements, etc.)
• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders
• Manage the legal team
• Lead in-person/virtual contract negotiations
• SPOC for senior management
• Draft, review and manage sales side and vendor side agreements (NDAs, MSAs, Job Orders)
• End-to-End Contract Lifecycle Management in the Contracts Database
• Coordinate with Internal Stakeholders for negotiations and closure of various agreements and such other legal instruments.
• Ability to independently handle various legal issues including litigations, HR/Labor matters, IP advice, and data privacy matters
• Prior In-House Legal experience in an IT company is a must.

• 1. Sharing, Drafting, Reviewing and Managing Sales side and Vendor side agreements, such as NDAs, MSAs, Job Orders, etc.
• 2. End-to-End Contract Lifecycle Management in the organization Contracts Database.
• 3. Coordinate with Internal Stakeholder for negotiations and closure of various agreements and such other legal instruments.
• 4. Ability to independently handle various legal issues of the organization, such as, litigations, HR/Labor matters, Intellectual Property Advice, Litigation and prosecution matters, and so on.
• 5. Prior In-House Legal experience in an IT company is a must.
• 6. Ability to manage team and troubleshoot issues faced by the team.
• 7. Understanding of business in order to efficiently advise stakeholder on deal related risks.
• 8. Mandatory experience in HR advisory, IP management and advisory and handling data privacy matters and agreements.
