Job summary

PeopleStrong in Thane seeks an Associate - Finance & Accounts to manage end-to-end accounts closure and audit activities, ensuring RERA compliance, insurance portfolio oversight, and streamlined SAP banking operations. This role partners with Chartered Accountants and internal teams to secure CA certificates and complete Form 1 & 2 for engineer and architect certificates.

The ideal candidate holds M.Com or MBA, 5–12 years of experience in financial closure, audits, RERA regulations, and SAP;

SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

End to end management of Accounts closure & Audit activities.This role is central to ensuring our projects remain compliant with RERA regulations, managing our corporate insurance portfolio, and streamlining our banking operations using SAP

SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants to obtain CA certificates required for project fund withdrawals along with co ordination for Form 1 & 2 for Engineer & Architect Certificate.
• Manage end-to-end RERA audits, ensuring that 70% of allottee collections are correctly deposited and utilized for construction.

Prepare and file Monthly and Quarterly (QTR) compliance reports as per state RERA authority mandates

• Oversee the company’s insurance portfolio, with a specific focus on Fire Insurance and Property & Casualty coverage for various project sites.
• Handle the end-to-end claims process, including documentation, coordination with surveyors, and following up on settlements.
• Execute daily banking operations and maintain relationships with bank officials for any banking related issues.
• Perform bank reconciliations in SAP, ensuring all entries are accurate and tally bank statements.

Ensure timely closure of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly books of Accounts with accuracy. 40%

Responsible for all the Monthly,Quarterly and Yearly Corporate submissions viz..Quick estimate, BU - P&L, Monitoring and reporting sheet etc on or before scheduled timelines. 30%

Co-ordination with Internal Auditors for Internal Audit and for implementation of Internal controls over financial reportings (ICFR - Risk Control Matrices) and Co-ordination External Auditors for Audits and Limited reviews of financial results. 15%

Ensure readiness of SAP system to generate Project Specific Trail balances and Cost reports. 15%
