Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai seeks an Associate Engineer, Environmental to support our environmental compliance efforts. You will collect, analyze and archive component environmental data, liaise with global manufacturers, and assist design and procurement teams on regulatory requirements.

Candidates should have 0–2 years in manufacturing, preferably EMS, a Diploma in ECE/EEE/Mechanical, strong written and spoken English, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components and regulatory concepts.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills mandatory.
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Good team player with manufacturing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze & archive environmental component information for compliance.
• Interact with global manufacturers to gather environmental declarations.
• Support supplier quality, procurement and design teams on environmental compliance.
• Monitor regulation changes in ACM and alert on affected parts.
• Provide supplier training on environmental compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with global environmental compliance teams on new customer or audit requirements.
• Assist with regulatory/internal/third-party audits.
