Role Overview

The client is seeking a skilled Windows, VMware & Nutanix Administrator to join the Managed Services team in Noida. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, monitoring, and support of Windows server environments running on VMware and Nutanix virtualisation platforms.

You will ensure high availability, reliability, security, and optimal performance of virtualised infrastructure while supporting business‑critical systems across multiple data centres. The role involves 24/7 operations, incident management, and collaboration with cross‑functional infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 24x7 monitoring of Windows servers, VMware infrastructure, and Nutanix clusters to ensure system health and availability.
• Track and analyse system resource utilisation (CPU, memory, storage, and network) to identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Analyse historical performance data to identify trends and recommend capacity and performance enhancements.
• Provide incident and service request support across VMware ESXi, Nutanix AHV, and CVM environments spanning multiple data centres.
• Configure, optimise, and maintain virtual infrastructure to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Execute change management activities using approved change tools while ensuring adherence to client SLAs.
• Collaborate with storage teams and system administrators on virtualisation and infrastructure configurations.
• Build, configure, and harden Windows servers in compliance with security and operational standards.
• Analyse server logs and perform root cause analysis during major incidents.
• Manage and maintain permissions on Windows File Servers and NAS shares.

Qualifications – Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Windows and VMware Administrator.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Windows Server environments in enterprise‑scale virtualisation platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in 24/7 managed services or operations environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV across multiple data centres.
• Experience supporting and managing large‑scale virtualised infrastructures in production environments.
