Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions is seeking an Electrical Design professional in Mumbai with 1+ years of experience to contribute to cross‑functional project design. You will create electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications, coordinating with US designers and modelers to ensure accurate 2D/3D CAD/BIM models.

The role supports power, lighting, and low‑voltage systems across project phases. You will collaborate with engineers and detailers to maintain design quality and compliance with NEC/NFPA

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in electrical design or building systems engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and related guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for CAD/BIM tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations across all design phases.
• Assist in developing electrical designs and layouts for building power, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare and update electrical plans, single-line diagrams, schematics, and schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers, modelers, and detailers to produce accurate 2D/3D electrical models using CAD/BIM tools (SolidWorks preferred).
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination for clash detection and design consistency.
• Support construction administration by reviewing submittals, RFIs, and conducting site visits as directed.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Incorporate client and reviewer comments into design documents.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the creation of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations throughout all phases of project design under close supervision from local Electrical Engineering teams and coordination with US Designers/Modelers.


• Assist in developing electrical designs and system layouts for building power, lighting, and low voltage systems using working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.


• Prepare and update electrical plans, single-line diagrams, schematics, and schedules as directed.


• Collaborate with engineers, modelers, and detailers to produce accurate 2D and 3D electrical models using CAD and BIM tools. Solidworks knowledge and experience is preferred


• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination to support clash resolution and design consistency.


• Support construction administration activities by reviewing submittals, responding to requests for information (RFIs), and participating in site visits as directed.


• Ensure deliverables meet project quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.


• Incorporate client and reviewer comments into design documents under guidance.

Skills

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in electrical design or building systems engineering.


• Working knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.


• Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, and related guidelines.


• Proficiency in design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), or similar CAD/BIM platforms.
