Job summary

R1 RCM, Inc. in India seeks a seasoned Facilities/Workplace Services leader to oversee multi-site operations across Hyderabad and Noida, managing housekeeping, maintenance, transport, cafeteria, helpdesk and vendor relationships.

You will drive compliance, budget management, renovations and reporting, while leading site facility managers and ensuring safety, cost control and seamless operations in a fast-growing healthcare technology services environment.

Qualifications

12–16 years in Facilities / Workplace Services, with 5+ years multi-site management.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites (housekeeping, pantry, electro-mechanical, helpdesk, front desk, mailroom, parking, event support)
Manage asset lifecycle, preventive maintenance, AMC governance and facility uptime of critical infrastructure
Lead employee transport operations across shifts for efficiency, safety and cost control
Run cafeteria and food services operations with vendor oversight and audits
Manage IFM partner relationships including SLAs, governance and improvement plans
Ensure contract labour compliance with Legal and HR
Oversee SEZ compliance, gate passes and documentation
Maintain employee ID lifecycle and access audits
Drive renovations, buildouts, budget control and project coordination
Own monthly management reporting pack and dashboards
Lead site facility managers and regional teams
Fill-in for Head of Workplace Services in governance and client interactions
Develop 12–16 year experienced professionals and build pan-India leadership

Key Responsibilities-

Operations & Service Delivery:

Own day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites — housekeeping, pantry, electro-mechanical and technical services, helpdesk, front desk, mailroom, parking and event support.
Own asset lifecycle management, preventive and predictive maintenance, AMC governance, facility condition audits and uptime of critical infrastructure.
Manage employee transport operations across shifts — routing efficiency, on‑time performance, cost per trip, vehicle compliance and employee safety (including night‑shift safety protocols).
Own cafeteria and food services operations — vendor performance, hygiene and food safety audits, menu governance, pricing and employee feedback loops.
Run the IFM partner relationship operationally: daily/weekly reviews, SLA tracking, manpower governance, escalation resolution and performance improvement plans.

Compliance Execution:

Execute contract labour compliance in close collaboration with Legal and HR and ensure regular compliance sign-off/ certification.
Own SEZ compliance operations: asset movement in/out, gate passes, documentation and interface with SEZ authorities and the Customs/Development Commissioner office.
Own the employee ID card lifecycle — issuance, replacement, access control mapping, deactivation on exit and periodic access audits.
Maintain building and statutory compliance documentation across sites; prepare the function for internal, client and regulatory audits and drive closure of findings.
Execute EHS/WHS programmes — risk assessments, safety committees, mock drills, incident investigation, first‑aid and medical services, and safety training.

Projects – Renovations & Buildouts:

Deliver renovations, refurbishments and new floor buildouts end-to-end — design coordination, BOQ, tendering, contractor management, schedule, quality, snagging and handover.
Manage project budgets and capitalisation, ensuring delivery on time, within cost and with minimal disruption to live operations.
Coordinate with IT, Security, HR and business teams for seamless site readiness, migrations and go‑lives.

Financial & Vendor Management:

Build and control the site-level OpEx budget; track spend, accruals, PO/invoice hygiene and variance reporting.
Identify and execute cost optimisation initiatives in energy, manpower deployment, transport routing, consumables and AMC rationalisation.
Support sourcing events with scope definition, technical evaluation, SLA design and vendor transitions.

Reporting, Technology & Team:

Own the monthly management reporting pack — SLA compliance, incidents, spend, utilisation, satisfaction scores and open actions.
Drive adoption and data quality across workplace systems (CAFM/FM tools, helpdesk, transport, cafeteria, visitor and gate pass platforms) and build leadership dashboards.
Lead and develop site facility managers and regional teams; ensure coverage, shift readiness and capability building.
Fill‑in/ backup for the Head of Workplace Services in leadership forums, site governance reviews and client/audit interactions.

Experience:

12–16 years in Facilities / Workplace Services, including 5+ years managing multi‑site operations with regional or pan‑India accountability.
Industry: Preferably BPO / ITeS / GCC / Shared Services; large multi‑site corporate or IFM service‑provider backgrounds also considered.
Scale handled: 5,000+ employees across at least 2–3 locations; hands‑on experience in an SEZ/STPI environment is a strong advantage.

Education:

Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) or Hotel Management / Facilities Management graduate; MBA desirable. NEBOSH / IOSH / IFMA certification preferred.

Technical depth

Hard and soft services, MEP and asset management, transport and cafeteria operations, EHS/WHS, contract labour and SEZ compliance, project and fit‑out delivery.

Systems

Working proficiency with CAFM/IWMS or FM platforms, helpdesk and workflow automation tools, and reporting/dashboarding (Excel, Power BI).

Competencies

Strong execution discipline, vendor management, data‑driven problem solving, crisis handling under pressure, and the potential to grow into the pan‑India leadership role.

Mobility

Willing to be based in Noida or Hyderabad and travel extensively across sites.
