Job summary

WPP Media in India is seeking a senior digital media leader to drive multi-location activation teams, train staff, and enforce best practices across platforms like Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn. You will ensure consistency, quality of work, and knowledge sharing with regional partners.

You will manage delivery, coach the team, and contribute to talent planning and sourcing while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration with GroupM-Hub regions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in digital media execution.
• Expertise across Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn ads.
• Knowledge of additional platforms such as Reddit, TikTok, X is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with HubSpot/Smartly is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor multi-location media activation teams.
• Enforce social best practices with a focus on platform expertise and quality.
• Ensure high-quality output and accountability across regional groups.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and career development to the social team.
• Participate in hiring, capacity planning, and talent sourcing.

Role Summary and Impact

• Develop strong relationships with counterparts in GroupM-Hub regional teams (Europe, U.S., Asia, MEA, AUNZ)
• Lead the training and growth of your local social team.
• Enforce Social best practices with a focus on platform expertise, consistency, and quality of work delivery.
• Be accountable for consistent work delivery to GroupM-Hub regional teams by ensuring a high quality of output.
• Serve as point of escalation for your channel and take ownership of resolving challenges.
• Provide career development and coaching for your social team.
• Line manages 2-5 direct reports with as many as 50-70 indirect reports.
• Provide timely and actionable feedback to the team to aid in their development, improvement, and progress.
• Provide awareness and recognition for jobs well done.
• Provide support to the People Planning team in capacity planning & resource management for the team.
• Actively involved in conducting interviews to meet hiring requirements and sourcing the right talent pool for your team.

Skills and Experience

• Graduation or Post Graduation Degree in Any stream
• 8+ year's professional experience in digital media execution
• You are an expert & executed on Meta as well as on Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn
• May have an idea on Reddit, Tiktok, X
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet
• Working knowledge in HubSpot, Smartly, 4C, Scibids, or third-party tools like Dataroma, Google Studio is an added advantage
• Experience managing multi-location media activation teams.
• Experience training and maintaining quality standards at scale.
• Experience providing service to local teams from a centralized location.
• Passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of online advertising industry trends.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Possess a solution-oriented mindset and analytical skillset.
• Proactive, display exemplary leadership with a positive go-getter attitude.
