Role Summary And Impact

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high‑impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for an Associate Director Social who will:

• Develop strong relationships with counterparts in GroupM‑Hub regional teams (Europe, U.S., Asia, MEA, AUNZ)
• Lead the training and growth of your local social team
• Enforce social best practices with a focus on platform expertise, consistency, and quality of work delivery
• Be accountable for consistent work delivery to GroupM‑Hub regional teams by ensuring a high quality of output
• Serve as point of escalation for your channel and take ownership of resolving challenges
• Provide career development and coaching for your social team
• Line manage 2–5 direct reports with as many as 50–70 indirect reports
• Provide timely and actionable feedback to the team to aid in their development, improvement, and progress; recognize jobs well done
• Support the People Planning team in capacity planning and resource management for the team
• Actively conduct interviews to meet hiring requirements and source the right talent pool for your team

Skills and Experience

• Graduation or Post Graduation Degree in any stream
• 8+ years of professional experience in digital media execution
• Expertise and execution on Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
• Knowledge of Reddit, TikTok, and X
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Working knowledge of HubSpot, Smartly, 4C, Scibids, or third‑party tools such as Dataroma and Google Studio (added advantage)
• Experience managing multi‑location media activation teams
• Experience training and maintaining quality standards at scale
• Experience providing service to local teams from a centralized location
• Passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of online advertising industry trends
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Solution‑oriented mindset and analytical skillset
• Proactive, exemplary leadership and a positive go‑getter attitude
