Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office and clinical trial systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity).
  • Strong communication, negotiation and cross‑functional leadership.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines and scope with minimal supervision.

  • Lead risk identification and issue resolution; ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Overview

Assoc Director, Project Manager – FSP Work Schedule Standard (Mon‑Fri) Environmental Conditions Office.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact between sponsor and organization at the project level.
  • Ensure escalation pathways are adhered to internally and externally according to Rules of Engagement.
  • Define responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when scope requires.
  • Drive and own overall delivery of cross‑functional projects (time, cost, quality).
  • Manage financial stewardship at the project level, including contract understanding, budget alignment, out‑of‑scope activity control, contract modification process negotiations, and timeline execution.
  • Establish, communicate, and manage customer expectations for optimal delivery.
  • Lead risk identification and issue resolution at the project level (RBQM/RESOLVE).
  • Ensure project team compliance with organization policies, SOPs, ICH‑GCP, regulatory and project‑specific requirements.
  • Act as a mentor and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • 8+ years of related experience providing knowledge, skills and abilities to perform job functions.
  • Technical and systems competency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and organization systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity).
  • Ability to delegate and prioritize workload and resources in a frequently changing environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • In‑depth therapeutic area knowledge and familiarity with clinical development guidelines and directives.
  • Advanced knowledge of key principles of cross‑functional project management (time, quality, cost).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to address and prioritize expectations.
  • Solid judgment, decision‑making, and analytical strategic thinking skills for complex/ambiguous situations.
  • Strong negotiation skills, cultural awareness, and ability to influence others.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to minimize risk by proactively managing budgets, forecasts and resources.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Conditions and Environment
  • Work performed in office/lab and/or clinical environment.
  • Exposure to biological fluids with potential infectious organisms.
  • Exposure to electrical office equipment.
  • Personal protective equipment required (protective eyewear, garments, gloves).
