AECOM seeks an Associate Director - Process (Wastewater Treatment/Desalination) to lead technical input, studies and design for energy projects in India, developing expertise within a high-performing, global team. The role requires 15+ years of consulting/design experience and licensure (CEng/PE) with strong English communication.

The position emphasizes budget and schedule planning, construction cost estimation, adaptation to various codes, and delivering high-quality PS&E outputs.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical/Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field.
• 15+ years of work experience in consulting or design organization is preferable.
• Experience with ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes is recommended.
• Desirable experience with wind turbines and solar PV module modelling of control loops.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English is mandatory.

• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:

• Master of Engineering degree/Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical / Environmental engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field
• Overall 15+ years of work experience in consulting or design organization is preferable.
• E, ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes and standards) is recommended.
• Working with OEMs of Wind Turbines, Solar PV modules for modelling of internal control loop systems is desirable.
• Very good communication skills (Oral and Written) in English language is mandatory.
