Job summary

AECOM in India invites applications for Lead Engineer-Dry Utility in the Energy team. Lead electrical design across EHV/HV/MV/LV, street lighting, telecom, ELV, ICT, water and energy facilities. You will mentor engineers, ensure quality and timely delivery, and collaborate across global offices.

The role offers hybrid work with three days in-office per week, Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office, and engagement on diverse, high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in engineering from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

• Perform portions of a broader assignment under supervision.
• Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
• Tackle detailed or routine engineering tasks including calculations and tests.
• Propose approaches to new problems using standard methods.
• Identify discrepancies in results and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Work within budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Independently complete primary design elements for engineering works.

We are seeking a Lead Engineer-Dry Utility(Infrastructure)to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignements.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
• Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:

• B. Tech/ Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferablyMiddle East,UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region)
• Preparation, Review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump station,Water Treatment Plant, EV charging Station, Substation, Power Transmission & Distribution network
• Design Calculation: Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing & Voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing
• Software: Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP
