Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join the EPD India Operations finance team onsite. You will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial information and deliver analytics to support decision making by Operations teams and regional/global leadership.

You will lead India Ops Annual Plan, RLBE and other forecasts, drive process improvements, and collaborate with CFTs on incentives and capital projects, contributing to margin and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Finance experience (FP&A, Cost/General Accounting and Financial Reporting).
• Strong business partnering and analytical skills.
• Ability to influence peers and leaders in Ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of India Ops Annual Plan, RLBE and other forecasts.
• Work on CFT projects (GST 2.0, Free Trade Agreements, Industrial policy led incentives) with plant teams to avail underlying eligible benefits.
• Support analysis of impact of changes in external environment on India Ops P&L and work with CFTs on mitigation actions.
• Proactively develop and present analytics to drive financial and operating excellence across various areas within Operations.
• Participate in Affiliate & Region level finance and CFT projects (Cost Optimization, margin improvement initiatives, capital expansions).

This position is an onsite opportunity in EPD India Operations finance team.

This role will ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial information. Role is responsible for delivering analytics to enable informed decision making by Operations teams as well as support in presentation of performance summaries to India region and Global Operations vertical

Responsibility

• Lead preparation of India Ops Annual Plan, Latest Best Estimate (RLBE) and other financial forecasts
• Work on various CFT projects (GST 2.0, Free Trade Agreements, Industrial policy led incentives) etc. with CFS, plant teams to avail underlying eligible benefits
• Support in analysis of impact of changes in external environment on India Ops P&L and work with CFTs on mitigation actions
• Proactively develop and present analytics to drive financial and operating excellence across various areas within Operations.

Experience & skills
