Job summary

ACCA Careers seeks an experienced finance professional for an onsite role in the India Operations finance team. You will ensure timely, accurate financial information and deliver analytics for informed decision-making within Operations and for regional/global leadership.

Role requires 15+ years of Finance experience (FP&A, accounting, and reporting) and strong business partnering, with knowledge of financial policies. Apply your analytical skills to drive efficiency and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA Finance qualification.
• 15+ years Finance experience including FP&A, cost/general accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong partnering, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to influence Ops peers/leaders.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements.
• Knowledge of Abbott’s financial policies and integrated financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of India Ops Annual Plan, Latest Best Estimate (RLBE) and other financial forecasts.
• Work on CFT projects (GST 2.0, FTAs, policy-led incentives) with CFS and plant teams to leverage benefits.
• Support analysis of external environment impact on India Ops P&L and coordinate mitigations with CFTs.
• Develop and present analytics to drive financial and operating excellence across Operations.
• Participate in Affiliate & Region finance and CFT projects (cost optimization, margin improvement, capital expansions).

This position is an onsite opportunity in EPD India Operations finance team.

This role will ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial information. Role is responsible for delivering analytics to enable informed decision making by Operations teams as well as support in presentation of performance summaries to India region and Global Operations vertical

Responsibility

• Lead preparation of India Ops Annual Plan, Latest Best Estimate (RLBE) and other financial forecasts
• Work on various CFT projects (GST 2.0, Free Trade Agreements, Industrial policy led incentives) etc. with CFS, plant teams to avail underlying eligible benefits
• Support in analysis of impact of changes in external environment on India Ops P&L and work with CFTs on mitigation actions
• Proactively develop and present analytics to drive financial and operating excellence across various areas within Operations.
• Participate in Affiliate & Region level finance and CFT projects (Cost Optimization, margin improvement initiatives, capital expansions)
