Job summary

Ilink Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Finance Leader to guide R2R, FP&A and CFO functions from Chennai. You will drive operational excellence, governance, service delivery and stakeholder engagement across finance operations.

You will own end-to-end finance delivery, partner with CFOs and senior Finance Leaders, and steer process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement using AI and analytics to boost accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• CA with at least 7 years post-qualification experience in FMCG finance.
• Experience leading R2R and FP&A delivery at scale.
• Exposure to ERP platforms, preferably SAP, and finance tech solutions.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Leader to lead and manage finance delivery across Record-to-Report (R2R), FP&A, and broader CFO functions. The role will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, process governance, service delivery, continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder management across finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance delivery across R2R, FP&A, financial close, reporting, analytics and decision support processes.
• Own service delivery, process performance, governance, controls and adherence to agreed SLAs/KPIs.
• Partner with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Leadership Teams to understand business requirements and ensure effective delivery of finance services.
• Drive process standardization, simplification, automation, and continuous improvement across finance operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, quality, productivity, and customer experience through technology and analytics.
• Collaborate with business, delivery, and technology teams to implement scalable and sustainable finance solutions.
• Leverage AI, automation, analytics, and platform capabilities to enhance R2R and FP&A delivery and decision support.
• Monitor operational performance, identify risks and issue and drive timely resolution and corrective actions.
• Support transition, migration, and stabilization of finance processes, where required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior finance stakeholders and provide regular updates on service performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance delivery teams while contributing to capability building and practice growth.

Preferred Experience

• Strong experience in R2R and FP&A finance operations, with a proven track record of managing large-scale finance delivery.
• Experience working with CFOs, Controllers, and senior Finance Leadership Teams.
• Strong understanding of financial close, reporting, accounting operations, planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP and exposure to finance technology solutions.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, analytics and digital tools relevant to finance operations.
• Demonstrated experience in service delivery, process governance, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
