Job summary

ACKO in Bengaluru is seeking an Associate Director/Director of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis for the group. You will manage the business plan, annual budget, monthly MIS, and standalone statements for ACKO Technology & Services Ltd.

You will apply AI-powered tools to build robust financial models, automate reporting, and drive strategic decision-making in collaboration with Investor Relations, M&A, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• CA qualification required.
• 8–12 years post-qualification experience in finance.
• 3+ years in regulated industries (Insurance/FinTech/NBFC).
• Experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategy Finance, or Investment Banking.
• Proven ability to build multi-year financial models for business planning.
• Leading annual budgeting cycles and monthly MIS for large-scale operations.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance modelling, reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for Group segments (General Insurance, Life Insurance, holding company).
• Lead end-to-end annual budgeting cycle with consolidation and sign-offs.
• Prepare monthly MIS and executive-level financial reports with insights for improvement.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and deviations.
• Collaborate with CFO on financial impact of strategic decisions.

This position is pivotal in ensuring that the Groups forward-looking financials are robust and align with our strategic objectives, as you will oversee the business plan, annual budget, monthly MIS, and standalone financial statements of ACKO Technology & Services Ltd.

Skills & Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) to provide credibility and expertise in managing complex financial tasks

• 8 to 12 years of post‑qualification experience ensuring depth of knowledge and proficiency in financial operations

• 3+ years of work expereince in regulated industry (Insurance/FinTech/NBFC)

• Proven experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategy Finance, or Investment Banking offers a solid foundation for strategic decision‑making

• Skilled in building integrated, multi‑year financial models to support comprehensive business planning

• Strong experience in leading annual budgeting cycles and monthly MIS for businesses of significant scale

• Excellent senior stakeholder management skills to effectively communicate financial insights and influence decisions
