Frost & Sullivan in India is seeking an Associate Director/Director to lead strategic engagements in the Aerospace & Defence practice, and to drive business development and growth across client portfolios.

You will translate market intelligence into actionable growth strategies, oversee complex engagements with rigor, and mentor consulting teams to deliver high-quality insights and outcomes for senior executives. A strong track record in relationships and revenue growth is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Technology; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• 9–11 years of consulting or related experience.
• Strong understanding of Aerospace & Defense industry dynamics and tech trends.
• Proven ability to build senior client relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

About The Role

As Associate Director / Director, you will provide strategic leadership across client engagements, business development and Practice Area growth. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, you will translate market intelligence into actionable growth strategies, lead high-impact consulting engagements and drive revenue opportunities. You will also strengthen team capabilities, thought leadership and consulting excellence.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Client Advisory: Advise senior stakeholders on market trends, competitive positioning, business challenges and growth opportunities.
• Business Development: Identify and convert new business opportunities, develop strategic client relationships and contribute to revenue targets.
• Growth Consulting: Lead executive Growth Dialogues and apply Frost & Sullivan's Growth Pipeline Engine (GPE) to identify and accelerate client growth.
• Consulting Excellence: Oversee complex engagements, ensuring analytical rigour, strategic relevance and high-quality deliverables.
• Thought Leadership: Develop industry insights, research and executive perspectives that strengthen Frost & Sullivan's market positioning.
• Team Leadership: Coach and develop consulting teams, strengthen capabilities and promote knowledge sharing.
• Practice Development: Drive service innovation, improve consulting methodologies and identify cross-practice opportunities.

Required Competencies

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational foundation in business, economics, engineering or technology, coupled with a passion for solving complex problems and creating actionable insights for clients.

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Technology or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Typically, 9-11 years of experience in consulting, advisory, research or a related professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of the Aerospace & Defense industry, including market dynamics, competitive landscapes and emerging technologies.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, research and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to build senior client relationships, develop business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in project delivery, team development and client advisory.
• Self-driven, commercially minded and capable of managing competing priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
