Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for the Clinical Data Lake aligned with business and regulatory objectives
• Lead design, development, and implementation of scalable data lake architectures across clinical data ecosystems
• Build and manage data pipelines integrating diverse sources (EDC, lab data, biomarker data, EHR)
• Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, FDA, ICH-GCP)
• Establish standardized clinical data models aligned with CDISC SDTM/ADaM for analytics and reporting
• Drive data quality, transformation, validation, and lineage tracking
• Collaborate with IT, data teams, and global stakeholders to align data infrastructure

Associate Director, Data Lake Operations

This position is office‑based at Regeneron’s Hyderabad office.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for the Clinical Data Lake aligned with business and regulatory objectives
• Lead design, development, and implementation of scalable data lake architectures across clinical data ecosystems

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in data lake architecture, data engineering, and clinical data ecosystems
• Deep understanding of clinical trial processes, CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM), and regulatory requirements
• Experience working with big data platforms such as AWS, Spark, or Google Cloud
• Strong proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and ETL tools
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder environments
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and building scalable data solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or clinical operations
• At least 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams or large‑scale data initiatives
• Proven experience working on large‑scale data lake implementations in healthcare or clinical research domains
