Job summary

Regeneron seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Data Management, India, to lead regional DM operations on-site in Hyderabad. You will shape the global operational vision for Data Management, build a high-performing regional team, and recruit top talent across R&D functions.

You will act as the local R&D Lead for the Global Capability Centre, guiding data operations, external vendors, and cross‑functional initiatives while driving automation and efficient data access.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of clinical data management experience with 10+ years in functional leadership.
• Experience leading teams of 50–150 supporting global data management functions.
• Strong knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, ICH‑GCP, GxP, and GDPR.
• Expertise in DM systems such as EDC, eSource, eCOA, IRT, and medical coding platforms.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a regional Clinical Data Management organisation covering reporting, review, coding, lab data processing, and database operations.
• Serve as the R&D Lead for the Regeneron Global Capability Centre and the local point of contact for all R&D functions.
• Provide leadership and guidance while fostering culture and engagement across R&D teams.
• Define functional metrics and quality indicators to drive compliance and timely portfolio delivery.
• Oversee vendors and performance, managing risk and service levels.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and inspection readiness.
• Advance automation and AI solutions to reduce manual effort and accelerate data access.
• Shape organisation design, assess resource needs, and hire/develop talent.

This role requires

• 15+ years of clinical data management experience in pharmaceutical or biotech, including 10+ years of functional leadership and 8+ years of people management.
• Experience leading teams of 50–150 supporting global data management functions.
• Strong knowledge of clinical data management regulations and standards, including 21 CFR Part 11, ICH‑GCP, GxP, and GDPR.
• Expertise in clinical data management systems such as EDC, eSource, eCOA, IRT, and medical coding platforms.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
