Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a senior Data Platform Lead to guide enterprise data platforms, pipelines and integration frameworks across cloud and on-prem environments in a global delivery setup. You will mentor data engineers, drive modernization efforts, govern data quality, and collaborate with analytics and AI teams to deliver strategic initiatives that accelerate business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and integration frameworks.
• Build scalable and resilient data solutions across cloud and on-prem ecosystems.
• Drive development of data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers supporting analytics and AI use cases.
• Ensure data engineering best practices across architecture, performance, security, and scalability.
• Lead migration from legacy data platforms to modern cloud-based architectures.
• Implement Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and modern data platforms to support enterprise reporting and advanced analytics.
• Support MDM, data quality, metadata management, and governance initiatives.
• Partner with global business, architecture, analytics, and AI teams to deliver strategic data initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive program execution, delivery governance, and risk management.
• Build reusable frameworks, accelerators, and engineering standards.
• Establish engineering best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, testing, observability, and automation.
• Lead and mentor teams of data engineers and technical leads.
• Drive capability development, talent management, and career progression.
• Foster a high-performance, engineering-led culture.

How You Will Contribute

• Data Platform & Engineering Delivery:
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and integration frameworks.
