Job summary

BDx Data Centers in Navi Mumbai seeks an experienced engineer to design, configure, program, install and troubleshoot HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems across its data centers. You will develop BMS scope of work, manage LOE, schedules and budgets for customer-driven projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years in HVAC Controls and SCADA, strong knowledge of BMS software, networking (TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet/MODBUS), and experience coordinating multi-team projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent understanding of electrical/mechanical systems in data centers and controls/monitoring systems.
• 10+ years designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems.
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate challenging situations.
• Project coordination with multiple teams or vendors for data centers.

Responsibilities

• Develop BMS and power management project scope, schedule, budget and LOE for customer-driven work.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS improvement projects in BDx data centers.
• Assist in procurement activities including RFQs, vendor responses and PO issuance.
• Support controls project commissioning activities in data centers.
• Conduct engineering analysis and research data center equipment designs and methods.
• Ensure designs meet cooling, structural and operational requirements and safety standards.

Role Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, programming, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop BMS and power management projects scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts (LOE) to projects requested by customers and stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS improvement projects in BDx data centers.
• Assist in procurement related activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, review of vendors proposal and issuance of purchase orders.
• Support Controls projects related commissioning activities in the data centers.
• Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
• Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.
• Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.
• Experience of 10+ years in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software and networks.
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate challenging situations.
• Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers.
• TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
