A leading data center provider in India is seeking an experienced engineer to manage BMS and power management projects. The role requires 10+ years of experience in HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems. You will be responsible for developing project scopes, managing execution and procurement activities, conducting engineering analyses, and ensuring design compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have strong project coordination skills, contributing to cutting-edge data center operations.

• Develop BMS and power management projects scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts (LOE) to projects requested by customers and stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS improvement projects in BDx data centers.
• Assist in procurement related activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, review of vendors proposal and issuance of purchase orders.
• Support Controls projects related commissioning activities in the data centers.
• Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
• Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.
• Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.
• Experience of 10 + years in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software and networks.
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate challenging situations.
• Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers.
• TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
