Job summary

Ivalua is seeking an Associate Customer Application Engineer to join the RUN team, supporting post-go-live applications in a global scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC). You will manage customer relationships, configure the Buyer solution, and work with R&D on product features within a hybrid work model.

You will be trained on the Buyer SaaS platform and will own enhancements, upgrades, and application performance tuning activities, with opportunities for growth in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year software development experience in C#, .NET and SQL Server.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Preference for configuration-driven solutions over new coding.
• Knowledge of SRM, Supply Chain, or Procurement is a plus.
• Experience with Claude Code AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationship; gather requirements and analyze impact on the solution.
• Advise on procurement best practices and configuration management.
• Configure and customize Ivalua Buyer using the technical framework (C# .NET & SQL).
• Perform reverse engineering and debugging across implementation phases.
• Develop configuration know-how to minimize custom code; show technical creativity.
• Coordinate with R&D for product features and enhancements.
• Manage deliveries and resolve technical operational issues.
• Contribute to peer code reviews.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Context

Our RUN department, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around fifty experts leveraging IVALUA procurement solutions for our customers post go-live. The team is still growing in order to guarantee the satisfaction of a growing number of customers.

Role

Here at Ivalua, we are currently looking for a Associate Customer Application Engineer. You will be reporting to the RUN Manager of the technical customer support team and you will be responsible for managing the customer relationship on the maintenance of the applications in operational and technical terms. You will own enhancements, Upgrades and Application Performance Tuning Activates. You will be trained and certified on our Buyer application (SaaS Source-to-Pay software package).

What You Will Do With Us

• Manage the customer relationship. Gather business requirements and analyze the impact on the implemented solution.
• Advise Customers on procurement leading practices and configuration management.
• Use Ivalua Buyer technical framework (C# .NET & SQL) to configure and customize Ivalua Buyer solution to meet specific business requirements
• Reverse engineering and debugging to solve project issues throughout all phases of the implementation cycle
• Develop advanced configuration knowledge and show strong technical creativity skills to leverage configuration features in order to limit custom code
• Interact with R&D team for product features
• Manage deliveries and solve technical operational issues
• Contribute to peer code review

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:

Skills And Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in software development, primarily in C#, .NET and SQL Server
• Ability to understand complex functional and technical environments and communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
• Comfortable looking for configuration solutions versus new coding and development
• Functional knowledge of SRM, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement is a plus
• Experience working on AI - Claude Code

Soft Skills

• BE/BTech or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer science, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent. Procurement domain will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and at ease in a multicultural environment
• Manage client relationships, self-driven, results oriented, strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.
