Tamatar Talent is seeking a resourceful recruiter to join our early-stage recruitment marketing firm in Bangalore. You will partner with founders and brand leaders to understand hiring needs, identify creative and marketing talent, and build a high-touch sourcing process.
You'll scout through LinkedIn, manage a fast-moving pipeline, and coach both clients and candidates toward a mutual yes. This role suits a fast learner who loves AI-enabled tools, sharp questions, and building lasting
Tamatar Talent helps mission-driven, boldly ambitious startups - the ones trying to solve problems that matter, the ones who should win - build their internal marketing, brand, and creative teams. We're an early-stage recruitment marketing firm, and we're building this from zero.
We're looking for someone to be that zero-to-one partner with us: someone who can recruit for creative and marketing roles with real taste, real hustle, and real judgment.
Taste for creative hiring. One of these helps a lot: you've worked inside a creative agency, you've been a creative yourself (editor, videographer, photographer, or similar - anyone with a real eye), you've run something creative of your own, or you've freelanced in a creative role.
A consultative seller, not a pusher. You can convince a brand why a candidate is right, and a candidate why a role is right - but only because you've actually figured out what they need. Sales, to us, means counseling: asking the right question at the right time, never talking someone into the wrong thing.
AI-fluent. You already use tools like Claude and Cowork to move faster, and you want to keep getting better at that.
A real networker. You're a people person who doesn't run out of energy after talking to 50 people in a day. You want to build a strong network across recruiters, marketers, and talent - and you understand LinkedIn well because you actually spend time on it.
Early in your career, but strong and ambitious. You want to build something real from the ground up, not just execute a job description.
Organized, prompt, and meticulous. You read between the lines in a conversation instead of just replying to it. You keep things in order because you genuinely care about being organized, not because someone's checking.
Curious about how businesses are built. You want to learn how teams, brands, and companies come together, and you see every client relationship as a chance to learn that.
A fast learner who solves before you elevate. In the age of AI, when you're stuck, your first call is to AI and to yourself, not to whoever on the team is closest - you don't disrupt the whole team's flow before you've tried to figure it out. You'll get plenty of feedback when you get things wrong, and that's fine - you're not expected to be scared of mistakes. Own them, be able to explain the call you made and why, and use that to grow faster.
