Job summary

The/Nudge is an action institute focused on resilient livelihoods and poverty alleviation across rural communities in India. We are seeking a fundraising professional to own donor pipelines, craft compelling proposals, and build dashboards to reflect program impact.

You will work with donor-facing, marketing, and program teams to drive annual targets, research donor partners, and support engaging field-ready initiatives with prospective donors. The role is Bengaluru-based with NGO-sector impact.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of work experience in client-facing pre-sales/fundraising, preferably in an early-stage social sector organization.
  • A graduate degree in any discipline; post-graduate preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, learn fast and multitask efficiently.
  • History of meeting or exceeding targets and strong drive for results.
  • Strong research and creative orientation, especially in B2B fundraising/development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, CRM tools and design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver on annual fundraising targets with donor-facing teams.
  • Build compelling proposals and pitch decks for programs at The/Nudge.
  • Conduct market research to generate intelligence on donor partners.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards reflecting donor pipeline performance and impact.
  • Collaborate with marketing and program teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with finance to ensure optimal fund utilization across programs.
  • Support engagements with volunteering, leadership participation, and field visits for prospective donors.

The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals, and youth across rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, in partnership with 15+ central and state governments.

Our economic inclusion journey towards serving 25 million Indians spans 10 states and currently reaches over 1.5 million people. Through our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenges, we have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs, including Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees, Earthshot Prize winners, and nationally recognized changemakers.

At The/Nudge You Will
  • Work closely with the donor facing team to own and deliver on annual fundraising targets
  • Build compelling proposals/pitch decks that articulate programs at The/Nudge
  • Conduct extensive market research to build intelligence on donor partners
  • Develop and maintain dashboards/analytics which reflect the strength of the donor pipelineWork closely with various internal stakeholders such as marketing and program teams to implement high-quality delivery of the promised outcomes
  • Work with the finance team to ensure optimal utilization of funds across programs
  • Support impactful engagements including but not limited to volunteering, leadership participation, and field visits by prospective donors
