Job summary

QCI in New Delhi seeks a seasoned Editor/Content Lead to translate campaign strategy into finished work, drive daily content development, and share editorial-review responsibility.

As second-in-command on the content desk, you will flag risks, rewrite drafts to a sound institutional standard, and mentor writers across written, social and video content. This role reports to the Content Head and supports the content and creative unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of editorial leadership experience.
• Proven leadership across written, social and video content.
• Strong writing with accessible-yet-substantive range and accurate use of government terminology.
• Sound editorial judgement and the ability to pinpoint the most dangerous element in a draft.
• Understanding of the tone and responsibility of official communication.

Responsibilities

• Campaign strategy: shape timely core narratives and differentiate strategy by platform.
• Content development: produce researched articles, plus platform-appropriate social copy and short-film concepts and scripts.
• Editorial review: assess drafts across all five risk dimensions and rewrite calmly and accurately.
• Amplification: develop realistic amplification ideas with a proactive-and-reactive misinformation approach.
• Quality assurance: uphold format, word-limit and submission discipline across the team's output.

ROLE SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Campaign strategy: shape timely core narratives, connect audience segments to 35 content pillars, and differentiate strategy by platform.
• Content development: produce researched articles, plus platform-appropriate social copy and short-film concepts and scripts.
• Editorial review: assess drafts across all five risk dimensions, flag specific problem phrases, and rewrite calmly and accurately.
• Amplification: develop realistic amplification ideas with a proactive-and-reactive misinformation approach.
• Quality assurance: uphold format, word-limit and submission discipline across the team's output.
