Job summary

YASH Technologies, Inc. is seeking SAP ABAP Developers to join its growing SAP practice in India. You will design, build and improve SAP solutions using ABAP, CDS views, OData services and SAP Fiori/UI5.

This role requires 2–4 years of hands-on ABAP development experience, strong core ABAP knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across the full project lifecycle. Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of core ABAP: Reports, ALV, Function Modules, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms.
• Hands-on experience with CDS views: basic, composite and consumption views, annotations and associations.
• Hands-on experience developing and debugging OData services (SEGW, CRUD operations, deep entities, $expand/$filter).
• Familiarity with OOABAP and performance tuning tools (ST05).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW).
• Design and build CDS views, including annotations, associations and access controls (DCL), for analytics and transactional apps.
• Develop and expose OData services using SAP Gateway (SEGW) and/or CDS-based publishing for SAP Fiori/UI5 apps.
• Implement enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, enhancement points and implicit/explicit enhancements.
• Write efficient, performance-optimized code following SAP best practices and coding standards.
• Analyze business requirements and turn functional specifications into technical designs.
• Debug, troubleshoot and fix production issues within agreed SLAs.
• Take part in code reviews, unit testing and documentation.
• Work with functional, Fiori and Basis teams across the full project lifecycle.

About the Role

We’re looking for skilled SAP ABAP Developers to join our growing SAP practice. You’ll design, build and improve SAP solutions using modern ABAP, OData services and Core Data Services (CDS). This role suits someone with strong technical basics, good analytical thinking and clear communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years of hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong knowledge of core ABAP: Reports, ALV, Module Pool, Function Modules, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms. Hands‑on experience with CDS views: basic, composite and consumption views, annotations and associations. Hands‑on experience developing and debugging OData services (SEGW, CRUD operations, deep entities, $expand/$filter). Working knowledge of Object‑Oriented ABAP (OOABAP). Familiarity with performance tuning tools such as SQL Trace (ST05), SAT and Code Inspector. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with clients and cross‑functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Good to Have

Exposure to S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (AMDP, new Open SQL syntax). Knowledge of the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). Basic understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5. Exposure to ABAP Cloud. Understanding of functional modules such as SD, MM, FI .
