Job summary

ZEISS in India seeks a Junior SAP Cloud Integration Developer to design, develop and maintain integration scenarios using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI). You will connect SAP and non-SAP systems, help automate interfaces, and collaborate with senior consultants to leverage SAP BTP capabilities.

The role emphasizes learning enterprise integration with AI tools, using Java/Groovy/JavaScript, and working with standard adapters and protocols. Initial training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent.
• Strong foundation in programming concepts.
• Knowledge of AI & Generative Tools.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Groovy Script.
• Basic understanding of web technologies: XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, HTTP.
• Basic exposure to SAP (e.g., SAP ERP) is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and configuration of integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Use programming/scripting (Java, Groovy, JavaScript) in integration flows where required.
• Work with standard integration content, adapters, and protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, REST, OData).
• Support unit testing, integration testing, and defect fixing for integration scenarios.
• Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting integration flows in SAP Cloud Integration.
• Create and update technical documentation for the developed interfaces.
• Enhance and update skills in SAP BTP, SAP CI, APIs and integration patterns.
• Good knowledge on AI fundamentals.

We are seeking a Junior SAP Cloud Integration Developer who will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of integration scenarios usingSAP Cloud Integration (SAP CI / SAP CPI), working closely with senior consultants and functional teams to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.

This role leverages knowledge of SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CI) to explore how traditional middleware can be enhanced with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and automation. It's an entry level role for candidates with strong technical/programming skills eager to learn enterprise integration and next generation AI applications.

Initial training will be provided on SAP Cloud Integration and SAP BTP.

This role requires strong collaboration skills, adaptability and a proactive approach to learning and growth.
