Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking an Associate Cloud Operations Engineer for our Mumbai office. You will monitor, maintain, and secure cloud infrastructure, automating tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability.

The role emphasizes scripting (Python/Bash), system monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana/ELK, and CI/CD deployments (Ansible). A BS in CS/IT or equivalent experience is expected with 1+ years in cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in cloud operations.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls).
• Experience with scripting (Python or Bash) is a plus.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus or ELK stack.
• Basis AI knowledge and experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• System & Network Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK APM to track system health and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Follow best practices to ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Deployment & Configuration Management: Support deployments using CI/CD like Ansible.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with engineering teams to optimize cloud resources and maintain detailed documentation for operational processes.
