Job summary

Piramal Finance is seeking a Branch Intelligence Analyst to join the Branch Intelligence Unit (BIU). The role focuses on transforming data and AI into actionable insights to drive growth, profitability, productivity, and strategic decisions across branches and geographies.

You will build Power BI dashboards, MIS, and analytical models; extract and validate data using SQL, Python, and Excel; and drive adoption of BIU AI products with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar roles.
• Strong ability to translate complex data and business problems into actionable insights.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Power BI, Advanced Excel and data visualization techniques.
• Familiar with AI/automation concepts and stakeholder management.

Piramal Finance is looking for a business-oriented, highly analytical professional to join the Branch Intelligence Unit (BIU) as a Branch Intelligence Analyst.

This is a high-impact, business-facing role working closely with National Business Heads, Geo Leaders, and business teams to convert data and AI into actionable solutions that drive business growth, profitability, productivity, and strategic decision-making.

The role will also be responsible for driving the adoption of BIU's AI and data products across branches and geographies, understanding new business requirements, resolving data/analytics problems, and ensuring that business teams effectively leverage AI and data in their day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with National Business Heads and Geo Leaders to solve business challenges through data, analytics, and AI.
• Drive business growth and profitability through actionable data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and root causes.
• Drive adoption and effective utilization of BIU AI products, dashboards, and data solutions across branches and geographies.
• Work closely with Branch, Geo, Cluster, and Zonal teams to understand new requirements, business problems, and opportunities and translate them into analytical/AI solutions.
• Act as a key point of contact for branch and geo-level data, dashboard, reporting, and AI-product issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Identify opportunities where AI, automation, analytics, and data visualization can improve productivity, decision-making, and business performance.
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards, MIS, analytical models, and automated reporting solutions for business leadership.
• Extract, analyze, and validate data using SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions—from understanding the business problem and gathering requirements to developing the solution, presenting insights, and measuring impact.
• Conduct/enable AI and data product awareness, demonstration, and knowledge-sharing sessions for business teams where required.
• Proactively monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Present complex analytical findings in a simple, clear, and business-oriented manner to senior stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working directly with senior business leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple business requirements and deliver solutions independently.
• Experience in Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, Sales, or Retail Analytics is preferred.
