Job summary

Iris Software invites an experienced Associate Architect to shape the design of enterprise applications across the SDLC, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI capabilities.

The role drives architectural roadmaps, sets standards, mentors teams, and partners with product and engineering to deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP. You will evaluate new AI technologies and establish governance to align with business goals, ensuring robust performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant software architecture experience.
• Expertise in SDLC, GenAI, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise applications across the SDLC.
• Define solution architecture, roadmaps, patterns, and standards.
• Drive Generative AI adoption including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompting, Governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP focusing on security, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure SDLC, DevOps, quality gates, risk and compliance.
• Conduct design and code reviews and technical assessments.
• Mentor teams with architectural guidance.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and propose aligned solutions.

Position: Associate Architect – SDLC & Generative AI

Experience: 10-15 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Associate Architect with strong expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), solution architecture, and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end solution design, architect scalable applications, integrate AI-powered capabilities, and establish engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise applications across the SDLC.
• Define solution architecture, technical roadmaps, design patterns, and development standards.
• Drive adoption of Generative AI solutions including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, DevOps practices, quality gates, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
• Mentor development teams and provide architectural guidance throughout project delivery.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, DevOps).
• Hands-on experience in Application Architecture and Solution Design.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, and AI Governance.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software quality, security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale AI-enabled applications.
• Exposure to AI governance, responsible AI, and data security frameworks.
• Certifications in Cloud Architecture, TOGAF, Azure AI, AWS AI, or related technologies.
