Job summary

United Airlines, through United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd., seeks an Associate Analyst to provide technical support for procurement systems, align business requirements with configuration, and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for system users regarding system-related inquiries, issues, and requests and provide timely and effective technical support to users experiencing issues across various procurement systems
• Configure and maintain business rules, approval chains, purchasing and invoicing workflows, custom fields, templates, and catalogs aligned with procurement processes
• Assist in configuration, testing and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades, while maintaining data integrity across suppliers, catalogs, and transactions and enforcing standards and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop, maintain, and continuously update standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and system documentation to ensure consistency, clarity, and scalability across procurement operations
• Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement, system optimization, and user experience improvement
• Foster strong collaboration with teams, to ensure comprehensive fulfillment of support requests
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity) to enhance daily work efficiency

Description

The objective of this Associate Analyst role is to provide technical assistance and support to internal stakeholders utilizing procurement systems and bridge business requirements with functional system configuration to optimize our procurement processes.

The Associate Analyst will work closely with the system analysts, engineers and end-users to resolve issues, answer inquiries, and ensure a smooth user experience

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or related experience
• Computer science, Information technology, Engineering, Any other related field
• 1-3 years of related experience
• Experience with systems' customer support and troubleshooting diverse requests
• Experience with configuring approval flows, business rules, forms, catalogs and templates
• Excellend communication skills - verbal, written
• Problem solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and prompt writing
• Exposure to AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and NotebookLM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of procurement processes
• Knowledge of data analytics, integrations and data information tools
• Experience in core procurement systems such as Coupa, Ariba S&P
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in projects, internships, or work environments
• Knowledge of automation platforms such as PowerAutomate, Copilot Studio, Zapier, or n8n
