Job summary

Mastercard is seeking an Associate Analyst for Analytics & Metrics within the Global Statistics / Quarterly Mastercard Reporting (QMR) group. You will participate in close activities, support data collection, validation, and reporting of quarterly operational metrics, and help ensure data integrity under tight timelines.

• Ability to organize and prioritize workload while handling multiple business tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an ability to create and present persuasive analysis.
• FP&A experience is preferred.
• Experience with change management / delivering process change in an operational environment. Six Sigma certifications a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent PC skills including Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook, as well as the ability to quickly learn internal applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced, detailed, persuasive customer performance data analytics

• Provide customer support and training related to QMR topics to both internal and external customers
• Clear and concise documentation with internal systems for tracking inquiries
• Support quarterly QMR business update to regional finance teams

Overview

The Global Statistics / Quarterly Mastercard Reporting (“QMR”) group is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of Mastercard’s operational performance, inclusive of providing thought leadership to continuously evolve Mastercard’s internal and external reporting of key metrics. The QMR group is responsible for the collecting and validating data in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to tight timelines, performing various procedural controls and maintaining high standards for data integrity. As a core member of the QMR team you will participate fully in all QMR “Close” activities and assist in operational process management, development and improvement, including analysis of existing needs.
