Job summary

Selections HR Services Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Team Lead for Commercial Lending, Credit Analysis, and Financial Spreading. You will lead a team, review borrower information, and ensure accurate financial spreading into templates, while tracking trends and ratios.

The role requires 4+ years in related fields and a minimum 1 year of team leadership, with hands-on work reviewing 10-K/10-Q and CPA statements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Commercial Lending, Credit Analysis, Financial Spreading, or Credit Operations.
• Minimum 1 year of Team Lead experience.
• Hands-on experience reviewing 10-K, 10-Q, and CPA-audited financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts of financial statement analysis, and financial ratio interpretation.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving & communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines among others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team handling financial spreading, credit analysis, and commercial lending activities.
• Review and analyze borrower financial information, including 10-K/10-Q filings, CPA-audited financial statements, annual/interim financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accurate spreading of Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements into designated tools/templates.
• Review period-over-period and year-over-year financial performance to identify material changes and trends.
• Calculate and interpret financial ratios related to liquidity, leverage, profitability, working capital, and debt-service/coverage.
• Identify and explain financial movements affecting ratios, including changes in debt, revenue, margins, liquidity, and working capital.
• Perform reconciliation and reasonableness checks and ensure discrepancies are appropriately addressed.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive process improvements.
• Understand client requirements, handle queries, and ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Support team performance, quality standards, and adherence to defined timelines.
