Job summary

Medtronic in Hyderabad is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Snowflake, with Python development and SQL/Data Modeling expertise. You will work on modern data platforms to support analytics, AI initiatives, and enterprise reporting.

You will collaborate with analytics, AI/ML, and data engineering teams to ensure data quality, governance, and performance, while contributing to architecture reviews and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc.
• Strong experience with: Databricks Snowflake Python Programming SQL & Data Modeling
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data workflows.
• Good understanding of distributed data processing and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and scheduling concepts.
• Knowledge of APIs, automation frameworks, and integration patterns.
• Understanding of cloud-based data engineering architectures.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative Agile teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-driven and eager to learn new technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with AI agents, intelligent orchestration, or automation frameworks.

A Day in the Life

Results-driven Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Python development, and modern data engineering practices. Skilled in designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, workflow orchestration, data transformation, and cloud-based analytics solutions. Experienced in working with intelligent agents, automation frameworks, and data-driven architectures to support enterprise analytics and AI initiatives. Strong knowledge of SQL, distributed data processing, and performance optimization with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions.
