Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 5–8 years experience.
• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 10–12 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in LV Switchgear to contribute to LV product design and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and launch products per specs.
• Conduct hands-on testing of LV products.
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards and industry specs.
• Support localization and VAVE projects to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Provide technical support to production issues related to LV Switchgear.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Liaise with external labs (CPRI, ERDA, UL) to ensure global certifications.

Job description

What you’ll do:

Skilled Electromechanical Engineer with specialized expertise in Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear, including Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB), Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB), RCBO, Distribution Boards, Contactors, Overload Relays (OLR), Starters, Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), and Switch Disconnectors.

"The candidate should possess a comprehensive background in product development, hands‑on experience in LV product type testing and test planning, and a strong understanding of IEC standards, particularly IEC:60898, IEC:61008-1, IEC:61009 IEC:60947-1/2/3/4/5."

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop and launch the product as per technical specifications
• Conduct hands‑on testing of LV products

• Contribute to localization initiatives and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) projects to optimize product efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Provide technical support to address production issues and challenges related to LV Switchgear.
• Collaborate with on‑site teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Liaise with external testing laboratories such as CPRI, ERDA, and UL to ensure compliance with global standards and certifications"

Qualifications:

• BE/BTech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• BE/BTech 5-8 years of Experience or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10-12 years of experience.

Skills:

• Sound knowledge of LV Switchgear products, including MCBs, RCCBs, RCBOs, Distribution board, Contactors, Overload Relays, ACBs, MCCBs, and Switch Disconnectors.
• Hands‑on experience in Switchgear laboratory testing activities.
• Strong understanding IEC:60898, IEC:61008-1, IEC:61009 IEC:60947-1/2/3/4/5.
• Standards and their application in product design and testing.
• Hands‑on experience in coordinating with certification agencies and testing laboratories.
• Exposure to localization, cost optimization, and VAVE projects.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
