Job summary

The Corporate Institute seeks a Compliance Advisor to provide advisory and regulatory guidance to business, product and operations teams, with a focus on Wholesale & Retail Credit regulations and RBI guidelines.

You will advise on credit regulations, review products for compliance, track circulars, conduct testing, prepare monthly reports, and collaborate with senior management to address regulatory matters and coordinate with RBI for clarifications.

Responsibilities

• Advise business teams on credit regulations, RBI guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Review credit products, processes and policy notes for regulatory compliance.
• Track regulatory circulars, identify action points and ensure timely implementation.
• Conduct compliance testing and validate closure of regulatory action points.
• Communicate compliance observations and support remediation with stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly compliance reports and quarterly Audit Committee/Board submissions.
• Develop and update compliance training modules for relevant teams.
• Collaborate with business, product, operations and senior management on regulatory matters.
• Support regulatory interpretation and, where required, coordinate with RBI for clarifications.
