Job summary

HDFC ERGO General Insurance in India seeks an Assistant Vice President - Bancassurance to drive strategy and execution through HDFC Bank branches in the North region, Ghaziabad area. You will lead a team of Sales Managers and design growth strategies to achieve GWP, market share, and renewal targets.

The role requires coordinating with line managers, channel partners, and TPTs, providing training, and ensuring timely hiring and diverse, inclusive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level education or above with a graduation in any discipline.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in bancassurance or bank-channel sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bancassurance strategy & execution for deliverables through HDFC Bank branches for the assigned area.
• To manage a team of Sales Managers
• Designing, implementing, and executing strategies for continuous growth.
• Ensuring achievement of GWP numbers, LOB wise GWP, market share and other deliverables like engagement, branch activation, renewal etc.
• Regular interaction and co-ordination with line managers, channel partners, third-party team (TPT), and branch banking resources of the bank.
• Providing the required training to the team and periodic review of team performance and set agenda in line with organization requirements
• Responsible for timely hiring, maintaining and encouraging diversity and controlling attrition
• Responsible for grooming and handholding of the direct reportees including 5 to 7 Sales Managers
• Represent HDFC ERGO in all the bank meetings and initiatives for the location.
• Resolve all queries/complaints/grievances arising from Channel/Customer to the satisfaction of the
