Job summary

IVY World Play School, Ludhiana is looking for a caring, energetic, and responsible Assistant Teacher to support the class teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.

The successful candidate will assist in daily classroom activities, encourage participation in rhymes and storytelling, and help with materials, meals, and hygiene as part of a cooperative teaching team.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Nursery Teacher Training preferred.
• Freshers with genuine interest in early childhood education may apply.
• Experience in preschool/play school is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in daily classroom activities and routines.
• Support children during learning, play, creative, and activity-based sessions.
• Help prepare teaching-learning materials and classroom displays.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
• Assist children with daily routines, meals, hygiene, and activities.
• Encourage children to participate in rhymes, storytelling, games, and creative activities.
