Job summary

Big Basket is hiring a Store Supervisor (Shift Incharge) in Chennai. The role involves overseeing inventory, inbound/outbound processes, and returns within a busy FMCG/Retail setting.

You will manage a large team of store staff and delivery personnel, plan rosters, and train staff while ensuring SOP compliance and quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of inventory/ecommerce warehouse experience, good communication skills, and a presentable appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in inventory, ecommerce warehouse operations.
• Degree, diploma or 12th pass with readiness to work in a retail/E‑commerce setup.
• Good communication and presentable appearance.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inventory control, outbound logistics and returns.
• Manage 150–200 store staff plus 50–100 delivery personnel.
• Roster planning, training, and SOP/records maintenance.
• Deliver customer service excellence and ensure SLA/metrics adherence.
• Maintain quality standards across store operations.
