Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Bengaluru is seeking a Building Security Operations Manager to oversee security for a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring safety for occupants, assets and property while maintaining a professional environment.

You will lead emergency response planning, manage CCTV and access control, ensure regulatory compliance, train staff, and communicate security policies to stakeholders. This is an on-site role with 48 scheduled hours per week.

The Building Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations within a commercial building or portfolio of buildings, ensuring the safety and security of occupants, assets, and property while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Emergency Response & Crisis Management

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios (fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, security threats)
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services
• Lead emergency response drills and training exercises for building staff and tenants
• Serve as primary point of contact during security incidents and emergencies

Technology & Systems Management

• Oversee security technology systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems
• Ensure all security equipment is properly maintained, tested, and functioning optimally
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and system upgrades
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all security-related incidents and activities

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations, building codes, and industry standards
• Prepare regular security reports for building management and stakeholders
• Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as primary security liaison for building tenants and management
• Conduct security awareness training for building occupants
• Communicate security policies and procedures to all stakeholders
• Address tenant concerns and requests related to security matters
