Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mumbai invites a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee HVAC, electrical and building automation systems on-site, and lead maintenance programs. You will coordinate with stakeholders and drive energy efficiency, safety, and reliability of critical infrastructure.

You will also plan projects, manage budgets, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with applicable standards while delivering high-quality facilities services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and building automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Monitor system performance and energy consumption, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Plan and execute technical infrastructure projects including upgrades, renovations, and system replacements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepare technical specifications, review proposals, and manage contractor selection processes.
• Ensure all building systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations including building codes, environmental standards, and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities and systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of permits, certifications, inspections, and maintenance records.
• Supervise and mentor technical staff including engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
• Develop training programs to enhance team capabilities and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Manage annual operating and capital budgets for technical operations.
• Contracts with service providers, equipment vendors, and contractors.
• Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
