Job summary

Sar Transport Systems seeks a proactive sales professional for ocean freight import services (FCL and LCL) to generate new business, nurture importers, manufacturers, traders, and corporate clients, and achieve revenue targets. Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; Logistics or Supply Chain qualifications preferred.
• Relevant experience in freight forwarding or ocean freight sales.
• Strong business development, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of FCL/LCL shipments and import sales.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and acquire new customers for ocean freight import services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with importers, manufacturers, traders, and corporate clients.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate freight rates, and ensure competitive pricing with healthy profit margins.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales, revenue, and gross profit targets.
• Follow up on leads and quotations to improve business conversion.
• Coordinate with pricing, operations, and overseas agents to provide effective shipping solutions.
• Maintain customer relationships, ensure retention, and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Update sales activities, customer details, and pipeline reports in the CRM.
• Coordinate with finance for credit compliance and timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Lead Generation: Minimum 4 qualified leads per month.
