Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Quality Control professional to design and implement QC processes for residential construction projects in India. You will define quality requirements, supervise QA staff, and ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and building codes.

Lead inspections, maintain records, analyze feedback, and drive continuous improvement through audits and policy development, while keeping QC areas organized and audit-ready.

Qualifications

• Understand customer needs and project requirements to design and implement effective quality control processes.
• Develop, review, and maintain product and process specifications.
• Define quality requirements for raw materials and intermediate products; monitor and ensure supplier compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, regulatory, and legal standards.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, and quality staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee product development and manufacturing processes to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Conduct final inspections and verify product properties against defined specifications.
• Approve compliant products and identify, document, and reject non-conforming or defective items.
• Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and perform statistical analysis for continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to evaluate satisfaction and compliance with requirements.
• Prepare and submit detailed quality reports to management and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient quality enhancement procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of quality instruments and QC room equipment.
• Minimize rework and rejection levels, targeting zero-defect outcomes wherever feasible.
• Ensure QC rooms and inspection areas are kept clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
• Develop and implement QC policies and procedures specific to residential construction projects.
