Responsibilities

• Procurement: End-to-end RFQs, vendor comparisons, contract negotiations, and cost target management.
• Vendor management: Regular vendor performance reviews (OTIF, quality, pricing) and corrective actions.
• Warehouse operations: Oversee inbound/outbound, cycle counts, FIFO/FEFO, space planning, safety compliance.
• 3PL partnership management: Onboard and manage third-party logistics providers, KPI tracking, issue resolution.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Align supply chain with manufacturing output targets and budgets.
• Compliances: Maintain purchase documentation and ensure vendor policy compliance.
• Continuous improvement: Identify inefficiencies and drive lean improvements (Kaizen, 5S, root-cause analysis).

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Assistant Manager Purchase to manage indirect procurement, vendor development, warehouse operations, and 3PL partnerships in support of our growing manufacturing and project operations. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, startup‑style environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats across sourcing and supply chain, and brings a continuous improvement mindset to everyday operations. Prior exposure to sourcing for biogas, natural gas, or renewable resource sectors will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement: Manage indirect procurement end‑to‑end running RFQs, conducting vendor comparisons, negotiating supplier contracts, and maintaining cost targets without compromising quality or lead times.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain a reliable supplier base; conduct regular vendor performance reviews (OTIF, quality, pricing) and manage corrective action plans when vendors fall short.
• Warehouse Operations: Maintain hands‑on oversight of inbound/outbound flows, inventory accuracy (cycle counts, FIFO/FEFO), space planning, and safety compliance.
• 3PL Partnership Management: Select, onboard, and manage third‑party logistics providers covering network planning, KPI tracking, and resolution of service failures.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to align supply chain activities with manufacturing output targets and cost budgets.
• Compliances: Maintain proper documentation related to purchase activities and ensure vendor compliance with internal policies and processes.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactively identify inefficiencies across the supply chain and drive process improvements experience with lean principles or tools like Kaizen, 5S, or root cause analysis is a strong plus.
