Job summary

Shalimar Tar Products is seeking a seasoned Project Sales professional to drive sales for construction chemicals across the territory. The role focuses on building robust relations with architects, consultants, builders, contractors, and government bodies to convert opportunities in infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or any Graduate (MBA preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in Project Sales within the Construction Chemicals, Waterproofing, Admixtures, Building Materials, Paints, or related industry.
• Strong network with consultants, architects, contractors, developers, and government bodies.
• Good understanding of construction chemicals such as waterproofing systems, admixtures, repair products, flooring solutions, sealants, tile adhesives, grouts, and protective coatings.

Responsibilities

• Drive project sales and achieve assigned sales targets within the territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, builders, contractors, PMC firms, government departments, and key influencers.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities in infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and site visits to promote construction chemical solutions.
• Coordinate with distributors and dealers to ensure product availability and timely execution of orders.
• Track ongoing and upcoming projects and develop strategies for business conversion.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers during project execution.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence reports.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams including technical services, marketing, supply chain, and customer support to ensure seamless project execution.

Education
