Job summary

Hungama is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery across our business initiatives in India. You will own the lifecycle from planning to delivery and coordinate cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, proficiency with Jira/Asana/MS Project/Trello, and a background in business, technology, media, or related fields. PMP/PRINCE2 is a plus.

The Role

What You Will Do

Own the end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, resource allocation, timelines, risk assessment, and quality control.

Define objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders and project teams.

Build comprehensive project plans with task assignments, milestones, and dependencies.

Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to keep progress on track and resolve issues or conflicts.

Communicate status, updates, and risks clearly, managing stakeholder expectations with full transparency.

Track progress, surface risks early, and take corrective action to protect delivery.

Maintain project documentation: plans, status reports, RAID logs, and post-project reviews.

Drive process improvements and best practices across project management workflows.

What We Are Looking For

Must-have:

Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or Trello.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.

Ability to work cross-functionally with technology, content, marketing, and business teams.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Media, or a related field.

Nice-to-have

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile-Scrum certification.

Prior experience in OTT, media, Astro, or Microdrama content, production, or tech environments.

Familiarity with content production pipelines, platform launches, or digital content distribution workflows.
