Job summary

Ethos Power is seeking a dynamic Project Manager with hands-on experience in EHV substations (220kV and above) and underground cabling, preferably in Delhi NCR with corporate/private sector clients.

The role strengthens project execution, coordination and technical support, with gradual growth into client-facing techno-commercial responsibilities for large industrial projects. Based in Gurgaon, travel to sites and client meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in 220kV and above Substations (AIS/GIS) and Underground HV/EHV cabling projects.
• Experience preferred in Delhi NCR with corporate/private clients, utilities or EPCs.
• Strong understanding of EHV equipment, cable routing, testing and commissioning coordination.

Responsibilities

• Execution of EHV AIS/GIS Substation projects (220kV and above).
• Project planning, engineering coordination, vendor follow-ups, and site execution activities.
• Coordinate with utilities, consultants, OEMs, contractors, and clients.
• Conduct technical site visits and surveys for substations and underground cabling works.
• Assist in preparation/review of BOQs, DPRs, drawings, and execution methodologies.
• Support project documentation, billing, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions.
• Support estimation and proposal teams with technical inputs.
• Assist management in developing relationships with industrial and corporate clients.
• Gradually contribute towards business development activities for private sector EHV projects.

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Project Manager with hands-on experience in EHV Substations (220kV and above) and Underground Cabling projects, preferably in Delhi NCR with corporate/private sector clients.

This role is intended for someone who can initially strengthen our project execution, coordination, and technical support functions, while gradually developing into a client-facing techno-commercial/business development role for large industrial and infrastructure clients.

The candidate will work closely with senior management on project execution, site surveys, client interactions, estimation inputs, and future business opportunities in the EHV segment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in 220kV and above Substations (AIS/GIS) and Underground HV/EHV cabling projects.
• Preference for candidates having experience in Delhi NCR projects with corporate/private clients, utilities, or EPC companies.
• Strong understanding of EHV equipment, cable routing, testing & commissioning coordination, and site execution.
• Comfortable with frequent site visits and client interactions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Based in Gurgaon or willing to relocate to Gurgaon.
